Our team provides energy efficiency solutions to commercial customers in addition to supporting the residential carbon abatement programs. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an Energy Efficiency Manager to lead our commercial business sector. Position Overview:
The Program Manager will manage and develop a variety of energy efficiency programs and projects that serve primarily commercial businesses but will have involvement in the residential programs. As an Energy Efficiency Manager, you will oversee multiple inter-related projects, provide technical expertise on commercial lighting and/or energy efficiency technologies and provide leadership to the team.
Responsibilities:
• Providing technical advice on commercial energy efficiency technologies.
• Developing the business plan and related goals, objectives and time lines.
• Ensure the compliance frameworks for Federal and State based carbon abatement programs.
• Assisting with business development activities, including proposal writing and evaluating technical aspects of service requests.
• Identifying, selecting and maintaining relationships with contractors and partners.
• Participating in the mentoring and development of staff.
• Providing exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include a BS degree in an engineering/technical/environmental discipline, plus 2 or more years relevant technical experience. Ideally, some exposure to carbon abatement programs. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, project management knowledge, organisational ability and customer relation skills required. Innovation and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members is essential. Position may require interstate travel.
